C.S. Post & Co.'s upholstered pieces feature traditional construction using eco-friendly materials. Each frame is made of select hardwoods or engineered hardwoods from certified sustainable forests. The joints are either double-doweled and blocked on every corner or mortise and tenon construction. Steel strapping is used to support the eight-way hand-tied springs, which are made with 80 percent recycled metal components.

A down and feather blend completes the soft, comfortable seat cushions, back cushions and throw pillows all covered in 100 percent cotton downproof ticking. A renewable soy-based foam core further enhances each seat cushion.

Upholstery & Finishes

Unparalleled upholstery details highlight the benchmade craftsmanship of C.S. Post & Co.'s upholstery collection through the use of techniques such as baseball topstitching, cablestitching, string self welts and blind seams. Each piece can be covered in any of our 23 fabric or five leather designs available in colorways ranging from plain neutrals to bold stripes. COM is also available. Pieces with exposed wood frames include low VOC finishes available in tobacco or fruitwood.
